The holidays are coming up and I’ll be sharing some of my favorite memories via food.


Today’s memory is all about my grandmother, she makes the best pound cake. Even though she’s not here; I still get to share the holidays with her by making her famous pound cake.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F Spray cake release to 10 in tube pan Sift cake flour and then lightly spoon cake flour into measuring cups Combine sugar and butter until creamy in large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg Add in cake flour and whipping cream alternately. Stir in vanilla. Pour into pan Bake for about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes or until tester comes out clean Cool completely
